The issue with the "ghosting" is that you're using house paint as your base and not anywhere else. It's that simple. The house paint may be acrylic, but it's formulated differently than the same acrylic art paint. Come on now! That should have been obvious. Want better results? Mix house paint to the colors you want or ditch the house paint and work with art acrylics. The two are different formulations. Acrylic paints are NOT all the same. Ugh. Come on now! Know your paints. Art paint is not the same as house paint even if both are acrylic. How about you educate yourself about paints before teaching others.

I remember watching your videos 6 years ago. I found that I made lots of interesting art, but nothing I would want to hang and look at. I wasted so much money on paint and such, but I think I enjoyed watching you more than the mess I made and what I ended up using to hang. Hope you are well. Bought the paint-so much Dutch boy white,bought the little sticks and cups, made such paint messes! But it was fun after my mother died as a distraction.

did you add pouring medium to the other colours? or only the silicone to the red to get this effect? also, do you use fluid acrylics or just water down regular acrylics?
